meet the folks behind in good company

Hi, I’m Carly (she/her)
Registered Psychotherapist
Intentional Clinical Supervisor

I’m glad you’re here. I’m excited to introduce myself and In Good Company to you because I know first-hand how vital it is to find support as a therapist. I have been a therapist for 20 years, working in hospitals, solo private practice, and now as the owner of a group practice called everwell.

In my current professional role I spend my time running a successful group practice and supervising students and new therapists. In my personal life, I am on a journey of motherhood, partnership, and intentional relationship with myself. These things bring me so much joy and challenge me each and every day.

Being a therapist has been a central part of my identity for two decades and I realize now more than ever how essential it is to nurture all parts of myself, and all of my roles and relationships in order to be the best version of myself that I can be. My experience of being a therapist has been rich, meaningful and fulfilling. And it has also been hard, isolating and devastating. In my professional experience, I have rarely found places that accept and welcome the complexities of all parts of the therapist identity. So my friend and colleague Hailey and I decided to create In Good Company to address this gap. I’m glad you found us, and I am so excited to get started on building community with you.

Hi, I’m Hailey (she/her)
Registered Psychotherapist
Intentional Clinical Supervisor

I’m a queer and neurodivergent therapist, supervisor, and human. When I successfully prioritize rest and joy, you’ll likely find me thrifting, sewing, reading, or spending time with my sweet pup Juno. I own a virtual group practice called Tend Psychotherapy, which focuses on inclusion and accessibility. I support clients in navigating the complexities of their relationships with others and with themselves. I’m passionate about working with folks who are really good at taking care of others but struggle to show up for themselves.

Being a therapist is beautiful and wonderful –and it’s also really hard. Navigating imposter syndrome, pushing myself beyond my emotional capacity, and burnout have taught me the importance of slowing down and honouring my needs.

One of the most meaningful ways I show up for myself in this work is by prioritizing relationships with fellow therapists. Sharing space with peers and committing to showing up authentically, honestly, and vulnerably is essential for my overall well-being and sustained presence in this career. I’ve been fortunate to have that type of relationship with Carly, which continually energizes my passion for this work and community. Through our years of collaboration, we've noticed just how rare genuine connections with peers can be.

And that's why we created In Good Company –a space for therapists to feel comfortable and supported, where you can show up as your whole self. You truly are in good company here and I can’t wait to see all of the ways In Good Company shapes and shifts as the community grows.
